On May 27, 1949, Pujiang City, a charming city with a prosperous economy and mixed fish and dragons, ushered in the liberation. Under the call and leadership of the new government of Pujiang City, the people of the whole city have devoted themselves to the construction of New China, and the social situation has taken on a new look. However, the Kuomintang reactionaries were unwilling to accept defeat and perdition, and the Kuomintang Secrecy Bureau launched Operation Jackal, ordering spies codenamed Jackal and Wolf to secretly infiltrate the Pujiang River, secretly disrupt social order, and wait for an opportunity to launch a conspiracy against the new regime. Guo Jianliang, deputy director of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Pujiang Public Security Bureau, which is under the control of the East China Military Management Commission, was ordered to replace the captured spies and enter the enemy camp to investigate the mastermind and action plan behind the jackal's plan. Our party functionaries headed by Guo Jianliang worked tirelessly to deal with the enemy, and finally succeeded in hunting jackals and wolves, stopped the jackal plan, defended the victorious achievements of the People's Liberation Army after the three major battles, and made outstanding contributions to the birth of the People's Republic of China.
